This applies to all, without exception, the links in the food chain. Starting from the producer, the breeder, the manufacturer to the restaurant, the shopkeeper, the hotelier -which are the penultimate links- before the final recipient, the consumer!

In addition to food safety management systems, occupational health and safety systems also play an important role. In all economically advanced countries, governments have enacted strict legislation in the areas of occupational health and safety. With these regulations, the workers are protected from infections or accidents, but also the environment from pollutants, chemicals, etc. With the accession of Cyprus to the EU, things have become very strict. Every day, new restrictive provisions come into force and the existing ones are constantly updated.

  • ISO 22000 – Food Safety Management System

The ISO 22000 management system is a special study conducted by h.s.i. Foodtech Laboratories Ltd. based on the international standard, based on which a product can be certified to meet all the requirements and modern hygiene and safety rules. ISO 22000 ensures the wide acceptance and success of a product in the modern market!

  • ISO 9001 – Quality Management System

The ISO 9001 management system is developed by h.s.i. Foodtech Laboratories Ltd. on a standard basis to ensure the quality of the product or service offered by each company to its customers. ISO 9001 ensures the maintenance and / or improvement of the quality level of the company’s processes, reduces potential risks, as well as complies with all these procedures in accordance with legislation.

  • ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System

The ISO 14001 management system applies to companies that manage environmental issues responsibly. h.s.i. Foodtech Laboratories Ltd. develops the standard environmental management system with respect for the environment.

  • ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System

ISO 45001 was created at the initiative of h.s.i. Foodtech Laboratories Ltd. meeting all the requirements of the standard. It is an extremely useful study with a dual purpose:
a) Informing the interested companies about the current legal regulations (old and new) in a training and fully understandable way.
b) The training of business staff, so that they can successfully apply the newly acquired information in their workplaces.

  • ISO 17025 – General requirements for the adequacy of Testing and Calibration Laboratories

ISO 17025 was created by h.s.i. Foodtech Laboratories Ltd. based on the international standard and is a certificate. Its acquisition requires extensive laboratory and microbiological research.
It concerns workplaces and aims to ensure hygiene and reduce accidents.

The ISO 22000 is a special study, the basis of which can certify that a product meets all the recent regulation of hygiene and safety.
